The children in Ganges were recently commissioned to create our school entry for the Advent window displays popping up around the local area. Each day in Advent a household will decorate one of their windows with a Christmas scene to brighten up these dark winter evenings.
As school does not have a window directly next to the road we have made our Christmas scene just the right size to attach to the bottom gate.
As you can see we had many great ideas and creative use of the numicon tiles we use regularly in maths to assist us with our learning. Blue 10 tiles proved useful as legs for Santa or a reindeer and orange 1 tiles were just perfect for baubles on a Christmas tree.
We are the 8th day of Advent and our display will be all lit up as the children leave for home on Friday.
