Teamwork is important for science experiments to work well

Ganges class have recently been making a great deal of noise all in the aid of science as they have continued to investigate the different aspects of sound. High and low pitch sounds were the focus on this occasion with the children using the low cost resources of an elastic band and an empty yoghurt pot as they explored making different pitched sounds.

Annotated photographs to explain your thoughts to class

To record their findings some children explained what they had found to the rest of class by annotating some photographs beamed to our board and some others have written their thoughts in their books.

Annotated photographs or pencil and paper, both do the job

Both methods of recording their findings ensured that there was plenty of great scientific language used in class.
